Origin

Film, eh? Or is it Cinema? Perhaps you go to the movies, the pictures, or just the flicks. Whatever, many of these reviews came from the Arts website, Palimpsest, which also covers books and music and a whole host of other cultural…er, stuff. But film’s the thing, isn’t it? So I have collated and moved things along to create TheseGloryDays, a blog specifically concerned with all things cinematic.

So is the new title pic from Dog Day Afternoon? Or is it Paul McCartney outside the Royal Courts of Justice?

It does look a little like Macca, doesn’t it? But, no, DDA it is.

Perhaps that could be a new, regular feature of the show…guess the movie still.

    do you do blog reviews?

  11. December 22, 2011 12:14 pm

    Dear Sir/Madam

I have looked through your website and I am really impressed by the well written reviews and engaging writing style of the site and I particularly enjoyed reading the ‘My Week with Marilyn’ review, which sounds like a fascinating film. I look forward to seeing it.

I am a producer for a small collection of film-makers known as Hoplite Productions. I have emailed you to enquire about short films. Do you review short films?

We made a 6 minute short film called ‘Who’d Have Thought?’ and we were wondering if you would be interested in reviewing our film. The link to the film is below:

I look forward to your response.

    Kind Regards
    Jordan Greenhough
